Arianna, are you a racist?
HinesSight can forgive the online Huffington Post for posting news that's three days old, but leaving out one of this country's greatest -- Dr. Martin Luther King -- on the day set aside to honor him is raising our eyebrows.
We found nothing about MLK yesterday, if anything was posted about Dr. King it was at an insignificant spot at the site. There was a lot about the silly Golden Globes awards, but nothing honoring King.
In fact, other than Barack Obama there's seldom anything about people of color at HuffPo. The site's contributors are seemingly all white and we wonder if there are any blacks on the staff.
Huffington claims to had made a 360 degree change in her politics over the years.
She describes herself as a "former right-winger who has evolved into a compassionate and progressive populist," according a bio at Wikipedia.
