Blogger: Elfers fired Kathy Groob
An online blogger says political operative Kathy Groob and crew were fired by the Tom Elfers campaign. No explanation was given. [ Link ]
"November Strategies may as well close up shop in Northern Kentucky. No candidate in their right mind will go to them. Elfers worked with them for about 3 days, and quickly terminated that relationship back in the Spring," wrote Jim Gillespie on the Enquirer's political blog.
The accusation was not disputed.
That possible revelation came just days after the Groob crew was caught making anti-semitic remarks against two newly-elected members of the Covington Commission who are of Jewish heritage on the same Enquirer blog.
According to the Kentucky political blog PageOneKentucky, Groob posted the following [ Link ] online:
"Two ivory tower nazis were elected to cov city council and that is bad."
Commissioner-elect Steve Casper is Jewish. The other commissioner-elect Steve Frank got wind of it and wrote the following:
"My father was also Jewish. I came up hard to make it where I am in my tower and helped many people along the way.
"I've done foundation work in knee deep mud, busted rods, did concrete work, and walked the high iron testing bolts 180 feet in the air when I-75 and I 275 were being built for the State of KY for $2.37 an hour.
"Ivory Tower Nazi my a.. "
